As Chair of Governors, I am proud to work alongside our dedicated Governing Body in supporting Durweston Primary School to provide the very best education, experiences and opportunities for every child.
Governors play an important role in the leadership and development of the school. We work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders, providing both support and constructive challenge. Our role includes helping to set the school’s strategic direction, monitoring educational performance and ensuring that the needs and wellbeing of our pupils remain at the heart of decision-making.
As a Governing Body, we are committed to supporting the school in bringing its values of Courage, Compassion and Joy to life. We want every child at Durweston to feel valued, supported and inspired to achieve their potential, while becoming confident, caring members of our community.
