We are very proud to share our most recent Ofsted report with you.

Ofsted visited us on the 10th and 11th February 2026.  They identified us as being 'strong' in all areas.

What it is like to attend Durweston:

'Pupils enter this welcoming village school, chatting with their friends, excited about the activities that lie ahead. When they leave Year 6, pupils achieve well in reading and mathematics. They represent their school with maturity and want to do their best.'

'Leaders’ actions ensure all pupils can and do succeed personally and academically'

'Pupils’ wellbeing is an important aspect of leaders' work. Staff meet and greet pupils, parents and carers at the gate each morning, checking how they are. Teachers put the right help in place for pupils who need extra support.'
