Our team

Mrs De Silva teaches all week except Tuesday afternoons. Mrs Corrie teaches RE and PE on Tuesday afternoons. The Dolphins Teaching Assistant is Mrs Riley.

Spellings

We are not sending spellings home this year. If you wish to support your child with their spelling, please feel free to play games such as Junior Scrabble or Boggle.

Mathematics

The children are revisiting single digit addition facts which you may choose to support at home. Automatic and accurate recall of number facts is essential to secure progress in maths as it allows children to focus on the process of the puzzle or problem they are solving. The number facts are organised in our school fluency document which is part of our Maths Policy. You can also access them using the link below, where you will also find examples of addition squares you could use.

PE

Dolphins have PE outside as much as possible. Please can you ensure your child is suitably dressed for PE.
The PE kit comprises:
Blue t-shirt
Black shorts

Plain black tracksuit bottoms for when it is cold
Blue school hoodie
Sturdy black trainers
