Miss Johnstone teaches here in the mornings and Miss Moscrop teaches in the afternoon, apart from on Friday afternoons, when Mrs Brooke is in class.

Mathematics
In Porpoises, our aim is for the children to be able to automatically recall the 66 multiplication facts.
To help with this, we ask the children to complete 20 minutes of Times Table Rockstars each week, in Garage Mode. Occasionally a Gig will be set to help the teacher measure progress over time. Knowing multiplication facts fluently lifts a whole layer of thinking from the children, allowing them to focus on mathematical thinking, reasoning and problem solving.
